The credits here are for a different comic (those on the alternate scan of this issue are correct). They're for a 1949 comic while this one comes from 1958. I suspect this may be another example of Farrell & Co. issuing two series with identical title, volume, and issue numbers several years apart. Easy to mix 'em up.

By imitating Spunky's voice, he and Spunky make McBop think Spunky is all over the place. While confused, Spunky lassos him and takes him a prisoner to town.
