Sometimes you need to blow an illustration up to see just how good an artist is. This cover indicated the artist is very good indeed.

I was confused because this strip is credited as "by VEP" (Victor Estenio Pazmiño) but the art is NOT his style at all. Then I saw the signature of Wesley Morse, who apparently drew the strip and VEP wrote it. Morse, as it turns out, created "Bazooka Joe" and also drew some Tijuana Bibles.
