That tree on page 6 is obviously a Maple, and that boy is drinking pure Maple Syrup. Where's the anit-sugar moralists?

A splendid find! I was unfamiliar with Donahey. My appreciation of his artwork grew with each new page. He makes me think of a combination of Zim's characters and T. S. Sullivant's inking style. Beautiful rendering (backgrounds, too) and a real knack for the vignette. I wish they'd have reproduced the cartoons a little larger. They are too small for the page. And I wish the captions had been set in larger type; my aging eyes had a heck of a time reading some of them.
