One odd thing about this issue: the *spaces* between the panels are all coloured. In other words, it's as if the background of the page was blue (red, yellow, orange) and the panels were pasted on top. This odd format started with Vol. 1 #9 and stopped with this issue (Vol. 3 #2).

I didn't expect the 2 page story (34-35) to be by Mickey Spillane! Also, the page of single panel gags at the back of the book appears to be by Fred Neher, as evidenced by his Will-yum character in the center panel, from his Life's Like That gag series. Not to be confused with the character of the same name by Dave Gerard which seems to have had both a newspaper strip and Dell comics.
