This is very well thought out book.
Very entertaining,
I have started reading this, only got a few right.
Telling you what the answer is not is both providing clues but also distracting. Ingenious.
This would have been a book I gave to children as it is painlessly educational.

I got about 50%. Some riddles are better than others but every page has lovely, whimsical pen and ink drawings. The author-artist is especially good at cats and bunnies. I like how he mixes cartooniness with realistic depictions of animals. However it's a good thing they didn't have Google back then, because if a clueless reader--like me--had looked up "finger cot" he'd have got results I'm pretty sure L.J. Bridgman would not have approved of.

A treasure, indeed! A book to teach children (and adults) to develop and use their thinking skills and still entertain. So very few quality kid's books today. Cheers, bowers
