Jennifer is rescued by Rod, son of the mine's owner. She blames the mine management for the cave-in, and testifies against Rod's father at the inquest. However, Rod and Jennifer visit the mine again and discover rats had eaten the support beams, so it wasn't his family's fault. Rod and Jennifer fall in love. |
