INVISIBLE AVENGER #1 by Virgil Reilly, was published by Illustrated Publications in January 1950 (estimated). It’s one of those stories where the villain is the star, trying to destroy Australia’s ‘hated white race’. Reilly was an in-demand comics creator at the time, and this is regarded as some of his best work. Unfortunately, his run on thIs title was short (6 issues) when his workload across multiple titles (and publishers!) meant something had to go – and it was the Invisible Avenger.
