NotesTHE CRIMSON COMET COMIC 16 was published in September 1950 (estimated) by H John Edwards. This is in the Albert De Vine period of the comic, and this issue sees detective Ralph Rivers on the good ship Nassau, cruising about the Caribbean. An encounter with piraes sees both Rivers and his alter ego, the Crimson Comet, engaged in defending the ship and its passengers.

Excellent. Yet another example of the calendar format. Portrait cover with staples at the top. When opened on it's side, a landscape comic. I admit to being a bit nerdy about formats but they intrigue me. It's also a good superhero comic. Lovely stuff.
