NotesBRODIE MACK METHOD PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS is a coursework book from the Brodie Mack Correspondence Art School. It includes the preliminary instructions for the course as well as six lessons. The book is intended to be accompanied by a series of charts relating to each lesson. Unfortunately, no charts are with this book and I can’t find anything about them online. It is also uncertain if there was an more advanced training once this course was completed. We are left with an insight into the course, but not the actual course itself. And, fittingly, it is presented in the landscape format that dominated a period of Australia’s golden age of comics. The previous version had 46 downloads and 470 views. This version replaces previous version which had no file extension.

Aug 27, 2024 By Downunder Dan While I haven't found the Charts referred to in these instructions or any other instructional books, there is proof that these things are out there! You can see partial photographs of the Charts at this blog: https:fraiing.blogspot.com/2009/07/brodie-mack-correspondence-art-school.html - this includes a part of Chart 10, which is not actually mentioned in the preliminary instructions book. (Brodie Mack refers to Lessons and Charts he did not have recourse to mention in the booklet.) Also, the a mention of Brodie Mack's course, along with a certificate of completion, at a New Zealand site on war art in the Pacific - see https:nzsoldierartinthepacificwar.co.nz/unofficial-war-art-2/harry-stones-war-art/ Aug 28, 2024 By The Ghost Man This is brilliant, and I hope the instructional course can be discovered one day for download. The only awareness I wish to bring is that this file downloaded comes with no file association. Meaning, normal downloads at CB+ come as .cbz compressed files and this one has no designation and downloads as a blank file that the computer doesn't know how to process. UPDATE - I added a .zip to the filename and was able to then unzip the file into a folder revealing the proper jpeg files.
