Dear Brenda Starr readers, I've recently uploaded an issue of an Australian comic called 'Brenda', which started life reprinting Brenda Starr strips. World War II caused the supply of these strips to be cut-off, and the comic was changed to tell Brenda Starr style stories that weren't legally tied to the brand. The issue uploaded is written and drawn by Yaroslav Horak, best known as the long-term artist on the James Bond newspaper strip. Feel free to have a look! Comparisons between this comic and real Brenda Starr stories would be interesting to hear.
