THE FOUR BEARS is a children’s story published like a comic book. It’s by Syd Miller and was published by Frank Johnson in 1941. It’s a bit gruesome, but no worse than, say, Little Red Riding Hood. Great artwork by Syd Miller! Thanks, Dan, for uploading this rare old Children's book. As you stated that it's published in comic book format, I take it that it is floppy, soft covered, rather than hard bound. Was that due to Wartime paper/cardboard restrictions? Syd Miller's name sounds familiar to me. Did he draw any comic book stories? If so, can you tell us any books to which he contributed, and the characters and story names? IF So, I hope you'll upload a few, eventually.
