| Notes | TORNADO COMICS was an anthology comic published by the Offset Printing Company in 1944. It contains three features: LOFTY REGAN, THE ACE OF CLUBS by Jim Colt, THE ADVENTURES OF SAM BRIGGS, SHIP’S BOY by J Gilmour, and BOBBY & BETTY by Noel Cook, as well as two one-page humour comics of OSSIE by Geo. Little. The internal pages are printed on very light paper (which we call tissue paper in Australia), meaning the pages more readily allow what is printed on the other side to be quite visible on the side you are reading. As well as the cover being partially missing, the actual physical copy was not in good condition, so this is scanned via a smart phone app to avoid damaging the original.
