Great pre-code crime with a dash of horror theme/imagery to capitalize on the shifting tastes of 1954 comic book readers. I think Ribage must have been tied in to Trojan Magazines in some way. The format and style of this book is almost identical to Trojan's 'Crime Smashers' including the over-explanatory word balloons on the cover. The cover itself references 'Crime Smashers." And the "Don Grady" story at the end is obviously a reworked "Dan Turner" story. A cheezy, guilty but unmitigated pleasure to read. Thanks!
