So the IFC is the heretofore missing first page of The Evil Genie for a C2C total of 36 pages. Yay! It is fully four-color, as is the IRC. This is typical for those summer titles [Jo-Jo Jul 1947, Phantom Lady Aug 1947, Ribtickler Aug 1947, etc.] during which Fox's IFCs transitioned from b&w/greyscale ads to full-color story pages to two-spot-color story pages. This cost them prime IFC advertising. Anyone know the rationale behind that decision?

Thanks very much, Titansfan and Movielover, for uploading the totally intact "Cosmo Cat #8", which is very rare, and restores to us the proper first page of Cosmo's "Evil Genie" story, as well as including "L'il Pan in Atlantis", which is missing in the version of this book that we had before. I've been waiting over 60 years to find it! Modify message
