For some reason I haven't spent much time looking at the Quality comics on CB+ so this character is new to me.
I like him very much.
I'm surprised that DC, who own the Quality characters, haven't revived him.
The first story tho, has a big credibility hole in it. If, in his first story, he turns up in a prison cell with a costume that says, #711, he would be giving his identity away immediately. I can see a few ways to tweak his origin slightly to prevent that.
I think the character has potential for revival.
This story-line, for some reason, put me in mind of the movie, THE GREEN MILE.
Oh, and when did he start an all night grocery and food franchise?

Yes, he's one of the few Quality characters that were never revived nor mentioned again by DC Comics, another one is the Ghost of Flanders (https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=77806).
In the end you'll see that his strategy of calling himself as his convict number will make his superhero adventures end soon... let's say one of the thugs will manage to put an end to his career.
As for the 7-Eleven franchise, given their foundation was in 1927 maybe that's what Dan Dyce was doing before becoming an attorney...
