Outside of Judge Dredd, I don't have a lot of experience with UK comics. If the rest are anything like this one, I'll be excited. The artwork looks like enlarged versions of a comic strip in the newspapers, but I really like the detail on some of the pages. And I really like the fact that the whole issue is one continuous story.

I've read some of The Saint novels and maybe watched one or two episodes of the series, but I didn't know this adaptation existed. I'll have to check more out.

Johnny, that's exactly what it is. A reprint of the US Newspaper strip.

As an Artist, Spranger seems to have had a gift for imitating others styles, so much so, that whatever personal style he had is unknown.
Spranger apparently did the Saint from 1951-59.
There are other reprinted US strips in the Super Detective series, including Rip Kirby.
