A decent version of one of the more straightforward Saint yarns. I'm probably teaching Granny to suck eggs here but I wonder if you knew that Leslie Charteris, half-Chinese Saint creator, claimed to be descended from the Bronze Age Emperors of China - and reckoned he could trace his lineage all that way? Leslie's brother, Roy, became a major cleric in Sri Lanka - hmmm, I wonder if he knew Arthur C Clarke? If you are interested in missing treasure, take a look at the area between Morgan's Head and Fort Warwick on Isla de Providencia (Providence Island) in the Caribbean. When the colonists left in the 17th Century, it is said they buried their treasure in this area and it has never been found.

Outside of Judge Dredd, I don't have a lot of experience with UK comics. If the rest are anything like this one, I'll be excited. The artwork looks like enlarged versions of a comic strip in the newspapers, but I really like the detail on some of the pages. And I really like the fact that the whole issue is one continuous story. I've read some of The Saint novels and maybe watched one or two episodes of the series, but I didn't know this adaptation existed. I'll have to check more out.
