I've added a new section.

It is a directory of the artists and writers of our comic books. Data is courtesy of GCD (comics.org) and all I've done is map it to the relevant books.

There are now links in the GCD data we show at the bottom of relevant issues. So click on the artist's name there and it will take you to his (or her) page.

You can browse the directory using the link on the bottom left of the ones by our main logo.

I take it that these are exclusively Golden Age and early Silver Age comic book artists only, as I don't see myself, Ron Harris, or any of my colleagues on it, and it is too small a list to include even ALL the Silver Age artists added to The Golden Agers.

As I understand it, these credits are linked to the Grand Comics Database entries for the specific comics in our collection, so only books on CB+ appear in the lists. If I have this wrong, Mark, please correct me.

It is NOT a list of ALL artists (active or not) as the purpose of this section is to allow members a chance to explore our books by creator.

To get on the list you'll need a GCD entry and at least one book on our site. At which point you'd be in the "others" section for the letter of your surname. 10 books+ and it's your own page!

No GCD entry and no book here means no entry! We can't link from and to nothing!

As an aside, a listing of every single comic book artist past and present would surely be immense and certainly nothing to do with this project!

Did I understand correctly that getting the page of our own means that the members who can contribute to this massive project by adding links to CB+ books not yet linked (and possibly contributing currently missing information about the artists) is necessary help for CB+ to complete the job, and improve the thoroughness of the data (if possible), is encouraged?

Do I understand correctly that not nearly ALL CB+ books are linked to your list, and you need our help linking the remaining books, (and perhaps would welcome our also listing added information about the artists if it is missing on GCD) to complete the project?  Or have you already linked them ALL to their GCD data page?

Not sure that is a GCD decision. I am just taking their data and

1) extracting writers and artist we have works by

2) linking the GCD and our data "backwards" and "forwards"
