DC: A Company on Two Coasts?

"Last Friday was a tough one if you worked at DC. With rumors that anywhere from 20 - 30% of the workforce might be laid off, many DC employees were given the option to relocate to Burbank, California or face being laid off. Having gone through my share of Move or Get Out layoffs in the past, I can sympathize with the DC staffers. Having to decide between your job and your current home is not an easy decision, especially in one of the worst economies in American History." -- Jim Shelley

Interesting news that surely affects some of our favorite titles. See more analysis from our friends at Flashback Universe.

Great, as if the world wasn't scary enough already.  :P

Thanks for the link, I appreciated the article. I think the split may also reflect that DC has commited to several more animated movies and those require studios that contribute little (as far as I can tell, outside of generating interest) to published monthly titles.
