Ned Kelly is a figure that haunts the Australian psyche - and that haunts comics around the world. As a bushranger, the concept of Kelly and his gang in armour protecting them from bullets is easily adopted. If you look for Dead-Eye Western #11, for example, you'll fing a story of the Iron Men who are obvious Kelly look-a-likes (and I see that the Australian Panther noted this in comments on that issue). Monte Hale #58 has an armour-clad opponent called 'the Human Fort', while Straight Arrow #14's Bullet-proof Bandits wear knights' armour. Have a look, you'll find plenty!
