One great comics adaptation of the Ned Kelly story was published in the 1970s as a newspaper strip. It's written and drawn by the late Monty Wedd, creator of Captain Justice (a bushranger-type character) and the Scorpion (where the villain is the dominant and successful character of the story). It was collected and published as a weighty hardcover in 2014 by Comicoz, and if you're lucky you might still find a copy for sale (it was priced at AUD $60).
