I'm scanning using a little Canon scanner circa thereabouts2001 with ArcSoft PhotoStudio2000 in a 2001 ME puter renewed with an XP Pro program and only have .PSF  .JPG  .TIF  .PNG  .PCX  .TGA  .FPX  and .EPS as choices in the scroll down window when saving.

Thus I saved in .JPG since there is no .TXT.

So, I'm fishing for data on how to save in the  .TXT    textfile.

Just make a new notepad file called info and write the info in it, save and put the txt file in the folder before you zip it up, txt is not a graphics format so you are not going to find it in a graphics program.
