Some Particular Issues I'm REALLY Looking For...
« on: May 23, 2008, 06:13:54 PM »

Hi,

I know there are a lot of you out there making new scans from your collections all the time, but for anyone who might have any of the following issues and is having trouble trying to decide what to scan next, I'd REALLY like to get a hold of copies of these specific issues:

Fox Features:

    The Eagle #2, #3, & #4
    Fantastic Comics #22 & #23
    V Comics #2
    Weird Comics #3 & #5

Better/Nedor/Standard:

    Exciting Comics  #48
    Startling Comics #34

Blazing Comics (Rewl/Rural Home) #1, #4 & #5

Jungle Comics (Fiction House) #8, #9, #10, & #11

Stars & Stripes (Centaur) #5 (5th issue; 2nd issue labled #5)

Victory Comics (Hillman) #4

Yellowjacket Comics (Frank Comunal/Charlton) #1 [complete], #9, & #10

Many thanks in advance to anyone and everyone who might be able to help me out!

[lined out titles have since been scanned and shared on GAC.  If you have any of the others please do scan them!   -Yoc]

I share many of the same wants especially Blazing and yellowjacket.  BTW Blazing 5 is a remaindered comic so it is just the cover over a variety of other leftover titles.

I've read some conflicting reports when it comes to the contents of Blazing #5.  Makes me wonder something like couldn't have happened like, say, only half the number of interiors compared to previous issues were produced, so the remaining covers were filled with left over contents from other comics.

Just another reason I'd love to see for myself!
