People love some old U.k. comics, such as Beano and Dandy, Schoolgirls picture Library, June & School Friend etc. Is it possible to obtain these?

Copyright is the key issue. Beano and Dandy are big no no's and probably the others or Paw would already have some here. We attempt to stay legal so we do not want to violate the copyright of those books that still hold theirs.

Hi, ebor1951.  One of the problems with the British pocket libraries is that they are very difficult to scan, with rusty staples being the main trouble as the staples sort of give up the ghost and the paper around the staples deteriorates. Taking the comic apart can cause the paper to tear and rip. Many early pocket libraries are now quite expensive to buy, if you can find them. Being 68 pages means a scanner can't simply fold them out on the scanner.  Apart from not being able to scan the gutter side of every page, the problem of the staples and poor state of the paper around the staples rears its ugly head.  In the last few years, unauthorised reprint copies of old pocket libraries have appeared on the market and they turn up at marts and on ebay.  They are much cheaper, although no substitute for the originals.
Also, I'm afraid you are not going to find the likes of Hurricane on CB+

Many thanks for all the COMET and SUN comics. Anybody out there with more of these issues? Thanks for clearing up why no Fleetway Pocket Libraries on the site. Makes sense with the rusty staples etc. Still, it's a shame that we can't see any here. Keep up the great work everyone!
