It's really hard to rate an anthology: A lot of this issue leaves me cold, but the Wizard of the Moon story is engagingly weird--and the Chris and the Calico Colt story is just plain BRILLIANT--a story I would be proud to have written. August Froehlich's realism is perfect for it. And even though the Candymaker story is a bit (dare I say it?) cloying, having early on learned that All George Tuska Artwork Looks Alike, this was a nice revelation.

There is so much to read that these reviews are much appreciated. I went and read the Calico Colt story and it was fun. You must realize that it is written totally as a kid story. It is however not drawn as a kid's story. The detail in the art is very good and the Rain Queen was hot. Keep the reviews coming.
