Can You Help Identify these characters?

True Or False?

Are these characters as far as anyone knows just Euro versions of American characters as follows:

Bob Star = Red Barry
Giorgio Ventura = Brick Bradford
Nick Silver = ?
Folgore = ?

Not Sure but these two Sci-Fi

Raff & Margus

Anyone have a clue?

Let me know'

Hope this reply helps even if the thread is old. Bob Star is definitely Brick Bradford. Giorgio or Guido Ventura is Brick Bradford. Folgore is an original Italian character. I have some reprints but I don't know much about the series. Raff is also an original Italian character (Mario Guerri, script and Vittorio Cossio, art) begun in 1944. Sometimes called "Italy's Flash Gordon." Don't know anything about Nick Silver.

Raff is a great story and has been reprinted a few times over the years.  There is a landscape, softback collection of the first 6 episodes.  Raff, Pugno D'Acciaio - Raff, Fist of Steel.
Nick Silver (if this is the same character) was a strip in a French comic.  See here:-

In many ways, Diego Valor is the Spanish Flash Gordon.
La Folgore (The Thunderbolt?) is also the title of an Italian weekly anthology comic:-

And here is the French comic, Fulgor:-

Fulgor is also an s.f. hero - some info. here:-

And, I'm not sure of what is the original but, Fulgor is also a Dutch lilliput, difficult to find and expensive when you can.
