Convert comic files for Ipod viewing?
« on: June 05, 2009, 09:13:04 PM »

I have an older (small screen) video Ipod.
Up to now I've only used it as a wav-file recording device.
But I wanted to know if I could covert the comics I download here to a format readable on it.
I realize layout and scrolling would probably be really messy, but I'm interested in trying anyway.

Has this been covered in any other post (did a search, but didn't see anything), or does anyone have advice?
I should note, I'm really just an "end user" and my code skills became obsolete with the Apple IIe.

Thanks,
JRC

I think someone in the Introduce Yourself thread mentioned an app for this -

Start at the end and work your way back.

Google's way faster, Yoc...

I know next to nothing about the iPod, so this might not be particularly useful (will Touch software work?).  There may also be issues looking at a page with hand-lettered text on a small screen.

Also, there were people talking iPhones rather than iPods, but this may also be useful (and, hey, points to the same place as above).

Thanks guys!

I've no plans to dive into this soon, but I'll save the links and let you-all know what comes of it, if anything comes of it.
