The first issue of the legendary "Scoops!" This is greatof fun. But can some gallant Englishman PLEASE explain to me why "Scoops?" What did "scoops" mean in the UK that they'd use it as the title of an s-f magazine? Over here a scoop was either "an exclusive news story published before rival newspapers reported it" or "a small shovel-like ladle for flour, ice cream, etc." Neither quite says "spaceships and monsters" to me.
