Has anyone read any of these by Avon?  The title is what intrigued me but flipping through it and it looks like it might actually be good

The cover of Buccaneers #21 has a picture of some slave girl dancing. At least , I think she's supposed to be dancing. It could be a conniption fit of some kind. It looks pretty silly.

I think before he goes on hiatus again Janus should give someone else the ability to change status. I think there are several people now who should be made VIP because they've uploaded some books. If nothing happens, they may get discouraged and wander away.

I have upped their limits way up enough that should keep them happy

There must be plenty to read; dictionary, phone book, cereal boxes. I actually have a bunch of books I have yet to read. I've only gotten through the first 3 books of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series. Not to mention the couple thousand comics I have.

I'm sure it'll sort itelf out soon enough.  Just bored with nothing new to read on a Sunday when the busses don't run and the library's closed anyway.

It seems like a good amount of the new scans here used to get run through Usenet before they turned up here. But lately it seems like Usenet's comics group mostly has Little Lulus and Archies.

Ahhh the wheel of time series.  I read the first two.  If only there were more time...

The last book (co-written by another author) is supposed to be a total of 3 books.

so that's a total of twelve books then?  at ~ 1000 pages each...

Actually, with the last book being broken up, there's 14.

Page count is deceptive. Look at a sixties or seventies paperbacks with small print and about 120 pages that today would be at least 400 pages large sprint and more space more edge to make for more pages to sell for more money. Of course being older that bigger print ain't so bad.

I've noticed that as I get older, I have to hold books further away. Pretty soon I'll have to get either a stronger prescription for my glasses or longer arms.
