The house ad on page 33 is at least honest: "Buy Charlton Comics! (We Need the Money!)" Interesting that this ad is in a romance comic, but only one of the 6 titles displayed in the ad is a romance book. But it does show the range of genres the company handled: love, cars, war, Western, fantasy, and superhero.

They also had a few children's comics series (about mischevious terrors (clones of Dennis The menace)), starring both boys and girls.  But they were boring and not even slightly funny.  They also had a few funny animal series that were pretty weak, as well.  But, like Fox and Farrell, they were notoriously stingy with their artist and writer salaries/page pay rates.
