You have to give Ham Fisher credit for parlaying his Joe Palooka strip into a franchise with Humphrey and Little Max each getting their own comics. They're both one-joke ideas (Humphrey is fat, strong, eats a lot; Max doesn't talk) that somehow caught on. I'm still puzzled why the cover says "Hi, teens! This issue is especially for you!" when it isn't ANY different than the usual Humphrey hi-jinks. There aren't even any "teen" characters in any of the stories!
