Stories not very good, not even as historical novelties, but very interesting art throughout. Bold images and little subtlety, but some effective angles and especially weird looking people. The latter increased the realism of it for me and it was nice to see some distinctive people in a comic rather than Jack Kirby’s one size fits all blockheads. The art kept me turning the pages and was entertaining enough, but a rather poor horror book compared to other contemporary publishers from then.
