Marvelman

As there were comments made on the Captain Future compilation, and it's artist, Norman Light and his connection to Marvelman, this article might be of interest:-

It's a bit of a slog but interesting.  A point I should make is that although Norman Light illustrated some Marvelman stories, it's probably the Don Lawrence connection that is best known nowadays.  I've always had a penchant for the George Parlett drawn stories.
Without going into the ownership wrangle, the actual creation of Marvelman, and the subsequent YMM; KMM and Marvelman Family still holds questions. Was Anglo the true creator of the character?  Was/were Light and/or Lawrence involved and how closely? Or were they responsible for the whole thing?  Was Len miller closely involved and in what context?  The article sheds light but I'm still not convinced.
As for the claims that Miracle Man - the sundisc MM - was a 1965 creation, I've gone into that somewhere else on CB+.  If I can find it, I'll post a link, if not, I'll go back to my notes and write it up again.
I'm sure some of you know a lot about this, or have opinions - K1ngcat has a lot of love for the characters.  So all comments gratefully received.  Decent, of course. ;)
