My failing memory suggests I didn't see IW comics where I am in Scotland . There were a lot of newsagents and corner shop's with either spinners or a small pile of American comics on the counter. This would be post 1960, although prior to distribution starting, there were sometimes American and Australian titles to be found. I just do not remember seeing IW titles till the '80's at London marts.
It is odd though as there were American bases nearby and comics leaked out from them into local pubs and small shops sometimes.
