Some pretty original ideas in this character's story arc. I wonder who scripted it? Thanks for the compilation, much appreciated.

As the frontispiece says, this was a George Brenner creation and he would have written and drawn it.
Brenner is someone who deserves to be better known by comics fans.

Yep! George E. Brenner is one of the greats! He invented one of the first superheroes ever, The Clock, and he worked also on another Quality character called the Ghost of Flanders (https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=77806).
