Is it something I did or has the search box mysteriously disappeared?

My search box, far top right, is still there.

It works through Google, so is something in your browser interfering with Google?

It must be some glitch in my desktop computer's browser. I have the same browser on my tablet and the search box is where it's supposed to be. I must experiment.

Just logged on and now my search box has disappeared in Firefox and Waterfox
It is there in my newest browser 'UR'
Since our search box works in conjunction with Google,
either Google has changed something or somebody is hacking this function.

https://www.ur-browser.com/en-US

Also,

Both Opera and UR have built-in VPN.

I don't think the other browsers do.

The missing search box seems to be a problem specific to my desktop installation of Firefox. It shows up on my tablet Firefox, on Chrome, and on Opera. Guess I need to re-install Firefox on my PC.

Crash,

It's not a firefox specific problem.
Shows up in some browsers and not in others, which indicates the problem is between CB+ and the Browsers.
Google may be limiting services to some browsers.
It shows up in the two browsers that have the strongest protection. Try Opera
If you have antivirus software, check your setting for your browser.
Also,
There are two other search fields.
If you click Forum Home, you get a search forum search bar.
If you look at the small yellow tabs just above your avatar, the third one is the general search bar.
Haven't used it yet, so don't know if it works.
cheers!

I believe these are localized issues ... are adblockers running? And what happens in good old Chrome?

I have an ad blocker on Firefox, but have it turned off for CB+. All the other browsers work fine and, as I said, the search box does appear on my tablet's Firefox. Pretty sure the problem is my individual installation. I'll re-install it but haven't so far because I'm lazy... ::)
