I understand why Phantom isn't included, but are the Australian Shadow and Planetman not public domain in Australia?
If the cover reflects a team-up story inside, I really wish I could read it! But American golden age comics covers often did not reflect any team-ups that their covers might suggest, I imagine the same could be true for Australian comics.

Although there is nothing on GCD about the contents of later issues, I seem to remember that there were reprints of Buster Crabbe stories in the back. Place holder strips till Frew dug out old Sir Falcon and other stories?
I'm pretty sure there wasn't a team up back then. How good would that have been?  You need to get your hands on the recent Frew Giant Size Phantom issues.

As a preference, I'd rather scan the original issues if I can. Experience shows that reprints are sometimes not complete (Catman, for example, usually has a half story/half ad page - and in some reprints that whole page is dropped for an extra whole page ad). The other comics under this cover are the Shadow #24, and an issue of Planetman which I haven't found its number. No team-ups in this 1950s/60s run. The new Giantsize Phantoms have some new stories, including team-ups, but they are all of recent vintage.
