Hi Jim,
Sadly I'm as much in the dark on most of these issues as you and the average fan is.
Aussie is the only one I trust to decide on these matters.

I suggest you send her a PM with a list of it and any other suspect books you might be unsure of and wait on a reply.  But remember, Aussie has been very under the weather the last while so don't expect a reply right away.  Real life will always have to come first.

Thanks for the other goodies, I'll have them up shortly,

Well dang it!   :-\
That fun 'Here's How America's Cartoonist Help to Sell Savings Bonds' contains Archie and Walt Disney material Narf.   :'(

I'd better wait until Aussie decides on this one.  Please mention it's in your folder on the FTP marked 'Do Not Add'.  She can make the call on this one as well.  A darn shame as it's full of various strips but that might well be it's downfall as far as GAC is concerned.

I first thought this book was strips written specifically for it and they did not appear elsewhere.  I think that they may have all appeared in newspapers in May of 49 as a promotional month then been collected.  If they appeared in the papers first then they were probably renewed but if made just for Harvey they would probably be OK. I created a folder in my ftp named Check if PD.  Everyone can check it out and give their opinion before it is added to the site. I will put the Buffalo Bill Jr in until Aussie decided also. Buffalo Bill Jr are Even Steven scans/uploads.

I suspect Camp Comics 1 and 2 are not going to be allowed here, although 3 is probably OK.  But this is one I've wanted to see for a _long_ time, thank you!

How could any comic book hope to capture the best of John Cleese. The first time I watched Fawlty Towers it was followed by Good Neighbors.  I needed the more sedate humor of GN to come down after the the Towers high

I could see Atlas doing a series where Manuel and his talking rat were the star with sexy Miss Polly a backup feature done in the Dan DeCarlo style.  Sounds good to me!

I'm not sure if a comic could ever capture the spirit of John Cleese.

I do know that, Sadly, True Brit didn't....

Thanks narfstar and no the Margie was not PD.

It is interesting that Harvey's Little Dot seems to have no copyright renewals for issues 1- 21, will have to look into that one day just to be sure.

Here are three more raided that I did not have time to get up this morning.  Plus 3 of my own with Kid Cowboy in 300 and 150dpi from a coverless and Return of the Outlaw from Toby all 300dpi no ads though and The Outlaws 12 from Star. Pretty darn sure The Outlaws contains reprints the first story has the title written above the top of the page rather than a splash.  Splash page with title was probably dropped off the original.  Not sure what this is a reprint of.
