Robot Yeti in the London underground? You got to love it.

There have also been recent finds of a lost Orson Wells movie and a lost Three Stooges film.

Who knows, perhaps London after Midnight will be found some day.

Reported rumours were that it could be as many as 100 missing episodes recovered--so the actual report of just 9 episodes seems rather underwhelming. It only makes a small dent in what's missing.

Yes, BUT, that completes Enemy of The World and, more exciting for me, a huge addition to Web of Fear.  Frightened the life out of me when I saw it originally.  All I've had to assuage my addiction has been the audio c.d. and episode 1 on the Lost in Time dvd.

It is so strange ... the news today triggered memories for when I was 7 and watched these ... I think there is a crystal ball type thing with the yetis. That is what I remember anyway

It looks sort of like a crystal ball and rolls about on its own.  But it is really a control device for the Yeti.  HONEST!
I was at my Italian class today and one of the blokes, hearing us talk about Doc. Who, mentioned how Quatermass and the Pit scared the poo out of him when he first saw it.  Nightmares for days after.  I remembered seeing it when I was a wee boy and it was truly scary.  But now it's available on dvd so we can all enjoy it.
