Hello all
« on: June 04, 2009, 07:03:28 AM »

Hi, I am new here, first post and all of that good stuff.  I love comics and the Golden Age earned it's name in my opinion.  I came here from Comic Racks website and am thoroughly enjoying my time here so far.  I found Comic Rack's site from searching for a better way to view downloads from a project that is archiving magazines (with a couple of official supporting members from the press now) online.  If you want to know more about that you can ask or whatever but I am not sure about saying another sites name here as that may be advertising so you may want to ask in a PM.
My father would have loved this site, had he lived long enough to see it.  He got me into comics at an early age (nothing like the Golden Age, I am just about to turn 33) and I have collected some interesting issues over the years.
Great site by the way, I look forward to helping out any way that I can.  Thanks.

Welcome.  And, as long as you don't try to repeatedly "hard sell" us on the site and provided that the site isn't doing anything that may be illegal (like hosting scans that may not be in the public domain, which we can't be seen to support), just tossing out a link isn't a problem.

Those of us who have been fiddling with the web for a looong time will remember that there were some companies talking about suing just for linking, but I'm pretty sure that everybody today realizes that this is just how the Internet works.
