Win 10 Upgrade due this month
« on: October 06, 2018, 07:31:13 AM »

Many of we CB+ people will be using Windows OS's, (some I gather with much older OS's) but a number will be running Win !0. With Win 10, Microsoft decided to continually upgrade it rather than get to a point where they replace it with another OS. There is a major update coming this month.
People are reporting that they have lost data. So you should be prepared for it.
Here are two links that should help you.

Thanks for the heads-up Panther! Some frightening stuff, but it looks like they may have temporarily pulled the plug for this "upgrade". A lot of folks are really pissed off about losing their files! Will definitely keep my eye on this one! Cheers, Bowers

Yes, Apparently they have taken it seriously and are halting the process for a while to try and  identify and fix the problem.
