Nice Carl Pfeufer art on the Tom Mix pages. Halfway between realistic and cartoony. He seems to have made an effort to make comic book Mix look like the real one (big nose and all), which wasn't always the case in Fawcett's cowboy star comic books.

Par for the course for Fawcett Western comics, there are lots of short humour fillers (by a wider variety of artists than usual) to pad out the issue.
