Found a great site by Jack Bradbury's son with his Beany & Cecil comics. Great Disney animator who drew a lot of Disney comics, not available. Check out some of his other comics!! Could they be brought to comicbookplus?

Try jbrad.org. I just found it with a search for Jack Bradbury interview. Good luck.

Most of what is shown on that Jack Bradbury website IS in The Public Domain, and so IS here on Comic Book Plus.  Bradbury produced most of those funny animal stories for Ben Sangor's studio, made up of moonlighting animators and storyboarders, who wrote and drew stories for Sangor's own Creston/ACG series (Giggle, Ha Ha, Funny Films, Hi-Jinx, Chuckle, Funnybone, and Spencer Spook Comics); and for his son-n-law, Ned Pines' Better/Nedor/Standard/Pines Comics (Coo Coo, Barnyard, Goofy, Happy, SuperMouse, Spunky, Real Funnies, Funny Funnies, Merry-Go-Round, and Dizzy Duck Comics); Croyden's Laffy-Daffy Comics; William H. Wise's America's Biggest Comics, America's Funniest Comics, Cryin' Lion, Hollywood Comics, and Complete Book of Comics & Funnies.  Although Sangor also produced stories for National/DC's funny animal series, Bradbury didn't work on any of those.

Most of his work ended up in Pines' Coo Coo, Barnyard, Goofy, Happy, Spunky, and Dizzy Duck Comics (with Spunky being ALL his work, and much of Dizzy Duck being from his hand); and a lot also appeared in Sangor's Giggle, Ha Ha, and Hi-Jinx Comics (with Hi-Jinx being ALL his work).

In addition to ex Disney animator Bradbury, Sangor also used others from Disney's Studio (Ken Hultgren, Lynn Karp, Al Hubbard, Gil Turner, Preston Blair, Al Taliaferro, and several more.  I highly recommend those series to people who like "funny animal" artwork.  Frank Frazetta, Howie Post, and many of the eastern-based moonlighting artists from Fleischer/Famous Studios also worked for Sangor's New York office.
