It's with great sadness that I have to tell you that Bob Napier has died. Most of you will not be aware that Bob was a bit of a legend in Scotland's comic scene.  He was involved in the creation of aka, marts and cons, and wrote articles for aka the fanzine. An expert art spotter, he introduced me to the work of Alex Toth, for which I am eternally grateful.
He was friendly with a number of big name comics creators but was never  afraid to criticise work when he felt it was required.
The inventor of mezzanine drinking and at times, a larger than life character, Bob will be missed.
