I'm probably teaching Granny to suck eggs here but I wonder if you knew that Leslie Charteris, half-Chinese Saint creator, claimed to be descended from the Bronze Age Emperors of China - and reckoned he could trace his lineage all that way?

Leslie's brother, Roy, became a major cleric in Sri Lanka - hmmm, I wonder if he knew Arthur C Clarke?

If you are interested in missing treasure, take a look at the area between Morgan's Head and Fort Warwick on Isla de Providencia (Providence Island) in the Caribbean. When the colonists left in the 17th Century, it is said they buried their treasure in this area and it has never been found.
