'Fraid not.  The books are not PD.  There are a number of sites/wikis with info on the series and characters.
While you're at it, don't neglect The 7 Soldiers of Victory - Leading Comics #1 - 14.
There is a good book by Roy Thomas, "The All Star Companion" published by TwoMorrows.

One of the least expensive(!) ways to get the Justice Society stories may still be the DC Archive series.  A lot of that stuff is still available through your local shop via the Diamond (Evil Empire) reorder system. Any one volume is still cheaper than a nice copy of any one issue of the original run of comics (57 issues).  Matter of fact, an original All-Star issue would almost have to be in pieces for it to get down to $50.

I see you

I notice nobody has explained PD to you. Every once in a while I do a post and it disappears. I did one here where I explained it.

G'day Panther.

I realise it's a minefield but could you explain further about how copyright relates to comic books. Is it, for example, seventy years after the deaths of the writer, penciller and inker? (and the person who puts the words in the balloons too?)

As for characters, is it seventy years after the death of the creator eg  Jerry Siegel died 1996 so Superman enters the PD in 2066? (except of course, there's the very welcome 95-year rule in the US - so Action Comics no.1 itself will become available in 2033 - not so long to wait - and, indeed, the first Hal Foster Tarzan strips will be free on Jan 1st, 2025)

Or so I believe - but like I say, a minefield

Andrew, there are others on CB+ who know much more about it than I do. I understand it in principle only.
I know that most of what is able to be on CB+ is pre-1960. Some is into the early 60's. Has a lot to do with whether the company that already owned the copyright has let it run out or not.
Don't hold your breath for TARZAN or SUPERMAN or Disney material, those companies usually renew their copyright just before it runs out. They can do that.
You can research it yourself on 'the nets'. there have previously been threads here dealing with it which were more informative than I have been this time. I posted to give cbpdc1 an answer to his question.

Here is one previous thread

here is another, more informative.
