It appears that I have no bandwidth in my record; therefore, I cannot get into any of the files.

Site shows you as having 200MB remaining, did you check your user CP before trying to download? For some people their limits do not automatically update when they log in to the download site, checking the user CP fixes that. There was a problem a few days ago that would have prevented some less active members of the forum from downloading, when did you get the error glammazon?

I was finally able to log into the main site but my User CP shows I have 0 bytes available for download. Is this part still screwy?

Astaldo have you tried download a book to be sure? And remember as Aussie said, sometimes you need to enter the User_CP link and then try before a download will work.

If you get an error please copy and paste it into a post here.

Nope, no joy! I've logged out, logged back in, cleared my cookies for site and I still get this error;

Please check your user control panel for more information on the limits currently available to you.. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin

My User CP shows this;
Remaining bandwidth:    0 B remaining
Bandwidth time remaining:    0 Days, 0 Hours, 0 Minutes
Files remaining:    0 files remaining
Files time remaining:    0 Days, 0 Hours, 0 Minutes

Mine says the same thing. I just figured the kinks were still being worked out as I've not been able to download anything since the forums have been back up and running.

Astaldo711, we're still trying to sort why some newbies have problems and others don't. I wish I could give you an idea of when it might be fixed but it's like searching for a light switch in a dark room. Hang in there.

I'll try but it's not easy. My computer got infected with a virus last night and is toast. I got a new one (cheap bare bones model) so I have none of my comics!

Are you sure you can't run the comics through an anti-virus application?
Once you know the virus there are several, many free, apps that can help restore your files.

Hey, you didn't say you were able to download today, at least that has improved. Your limits will be renewed for another 24hrs in three more.

Yes, I can download! I replied before I tried. The virus messed up my computer big time. I couldn't even get it started in safe mode. Anyway, I'll have to start over again downloading. I have a limit of 200mb and 20 books. I was able to get 5 books before I hit my limit. It'll be slow, but I'll get them back again. Thanks for getting me up and running!

Try starting the computer up with a linux live disc, and copy tings over to an external hardisk, and to be on the safe side, check any files you copy over with an updated virus checker before opening any of them in windows.

Okay, my usercp shows I only have 452kb remaining. Will this reset at some point?
I had a bootable CD that I used once before to restore my computer but I wasn't able to use it. I went into the bios to set the cr-rom as the first drive to load and it didn't do anything.
