So I scanned a complete copy of Jingle Jangle Comics #13, but the site isn't letting me upload it. I get an error: "No file uploads of this type are allowed", which is nicely vague. I e-mailed the contact address last month but never received a reply.

I'm sure one of the mods will answer this soon, and tell you how to upload them successfully.   

But I am curious.  Maybe the format of your scan files is not one of those that are acceptable for this website's platform or rules related to keeping the sites memory usage at a lower, more efficient level.   Are your scan files in a format other than .cbr, .cbz, .rar, or the like?

It's definitely a CBZ, and I doubt there's anything special/strange about the formatting. I've got plenty of other scans on this site that were formatted the same way, and there's been no issue with those. Honestly, I don't think it's an issue on my end, I think it's a bug with the uploader. I've ran into it since then with a couple more uploads.

I've attempted to upload the following comics:

• Jingle Jangle Comics 013 (1945) (c2c) (Pyramid).cbz
• Chocolate - The Flavor of Friendship Around the World (1955) (c2c) (Pyramid).cbz
• Driving Like a Pro (1958) (c2c) (Pyramid).cbz

Same error on all of them.

Just tried a fourth new comic, same problem. I'd like to get these comics to you guys, it'd be cool if somebody could help me.

I took a book and renamed it Jingle Jangle Comics 013 (1945) (c2c) (Pyramid).cbz

it uploaded fine.

So there is something strange going on your end. Are you giving them simple names? Could you check to see if there are more than one spaces in the files ... also cut and paste the file name here (ie rename it) back to file. In case there are null characters etc

If al that fails try uploading one as temp.cbz

We WILL get to the bottom of this!

Right, pretty sure it's not a filename issue. I named a file temp.cbz, per your suggestion, and attempted to upload. Same error.

The upload just deals with any file. Later it spits them out if it dislikes them. So it is the name or actual upload process / mime type.

What operating system are you using?

Another idea is if you can email a small couple of page example of a failure to team@comicbookplus.com I could try it
