Silver Age Harvey Comics Superheroes
« on: March 22, 2020, 09:57:25 PM »

Uhhh so I recently discovered Bee-Man, Spyman, Pirana and all the other Harvey Comics silver age. I love obscure silver age stuff and would love to read these but I have no idea where to find them since CB+ doesn't have them. I'm looking for: Double-Dare Adventures, Uearthly Spectaculars, Thrill-O-Rama and Jigsaw.

I think these are just a little too young for this site. I don't think they are PD. [Public Domain] which anything posted here must be.

As a child, I used to like Harvey's superheroes too. As far as I can tell, the whole catalogue is now owned by Comcast (though NBC Universal, Dreamworks then Classic Media)

What are the chances of any of their silver age stuff being in the public domain? Zero, I'd say - at least until around 2055.

Oh yes, love those awful Harvey heroes.   I am lucky in that I have most of the comics.  Despite the copyright  issue, many are available digitally online. You know, I just can't see any company bringing back Piranha, Jigsaw, Golden Gladiator and the rest.
This put me in the mood to dig them out and re-read them.  Ta.
