"Ladies in Labratories"

.

Hi. I'm working on a book cover and I've spent hours looking on CB+ for an image of women working as scientists without luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There's Sue Storm - Invisible Girl or Dr Pamela Isley (Poison Ivy)

If you google images for 'Poison Ivy in the lab', for example, that should get you something - of course, they may be copyrighted images.

I googled 'comic book female scientists in the lab' and found a couple of things that might suit - including a couple of copyright-free stock images

On this site, with older comics, it tends to be young women rescued from the clutches of mad male scientists - women were considered liberated if they got a job as a stenographer!

Trying various cover searches at the Grand Comics Database mainly turned up comedy covers or covers with men & women.

The Adventures of Bob Hope #14 https://www.comics.org/issue/71252/cover/4/

Laugh Comics #165 https://www.comics.org/issue/242263/cover/4/

The Science Fair Story of Electronics https://www.comics.org/issue/274748/cover/4/
